My wife and I checked quite a few dental clinics in Manila, Singapore and
Thailand. The best prices were in the Philippines and one of the
most reasonable in Manila was the “Tooth and Go” clinic. What needed
to be done was serious work; crowns and bridges.
What I discovered when we arrived is that, in Manila, not all dental clinics are
created equal and I'm so glad we chose Tooth and Go. German dental
dentistry with Swiss dental technology, done by Europeans. The staff are genuinely caring and it's a family business, run by Dr. Jens Knaab
and his wife Dr. Elkie. Dr. Elkie's needles are painless, I kid you
not and Dr. Knaab is an artist in that he will ensure that crown
and bridgework perfectly suit your face and consult with you... be
aware, near enough is not good enough for him. It must be right.
It took a little longer than some of the other clinics were advertising but,
what is it we wanted? We wanted the best quality: Dr. Knaab refuses to do anything except top quality work. This is no exaggerated claim: their slogan is the "best of the best" anywhere in the world but at prices which make it possible to have a wonderful full mouth again and not go bankrupt.
Fritz Minder is the technician and is an internationally renowned and award winning professional. Be prepared to wait for one week for your crowns. He only works for Tooth and Go and the International work that comes to him – look up his website. He too is an artist and dedicated to top quality work.
So we got the bridges and they were a perfect fit. The zirkonian ceramics look natural and we came away very happy.
We stayed at the Parque Espana, a residential hotel in Alabang, which is a well-to-do area in Manila. Sure you can get cheaper accommodation but trust me, you will want a few creature comforts and also be in a place where you can cook your own meals if you wish to and feel like you're home. The staff were great! The price we paid was around US$100 a night. Money well spent. I have been asked to write this review. I'm an artist and writer and I'm not getting paid for this. I'm writing the truth.
There is, in my opinion, no other clinic to go to other than "Tooth and Go" in Manila. It's a brand new facility utilizing the newest technology by a team of "freaks" for quality. We'll be going back.
Sincerely
